Uses
Bupivacaine is a local anesthetic drug used in a variety of situations, including when pregnant women go into labour, as a post-surgery management drugs, and during dental surgery. It works by blocking nerve impulses from being sent to your brain, numbing the area it has been applied.

Dosage & Administration
Anawin is to be administered via an injection to the lower back, and carried out by a healthcare profession in a health clinic or hospital environment.

It is typically administered as a single dose.

Side Effects
Possible side effects include those listed below. Report all side effects promptly to your physician, doing so promptly if any persist, worsen, or become bothersome.

• Dizziness
• Lightheadedness
• Headache
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Anxiety or restlessness
• Impotence or erectile dysfunction
• Ringing in your ears
• Numb or tingling sensations in your mouth
• Difficulty urination
• Unusual back pains
• Changes to your breathing, heart rate, taste, or speech

Precautions
For some time after administration refrain from participating in strenuous physical activities where there is a risk of injury. Your body may not be able to warn you of pain or discomfort which you would usually feel.
Always discuss the possible long term risks with your physician. These include loss of sexual function, impaired bladder or bowel function, loss of normal coordination, and nerve damage which may involve loss of feeling in certain areas of your body.

Before receiving this injection inform the administering healthcare professional of:

• Any other medicine you have been taking
• Any allergies you have
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
• If you have recently consumed alcohol, tobacco, or any recreational drugs
