Use
Azithral is used for the treat of bacterial infections such as pneumonia, bronchitis, skin infections and is also used for the treatment of Chlamydia. Azithral is sometimes used as a preventative for the condition known as Mycobacterium avium complex in patients with HIV.

Azithral works by inhibiting the bacteria's ability to reproduce, making it more difficult for the infection to spread.

Dosage
The correct dosage will depend on the condition you are being treated for. Typically the prescribed dosages for this medications are between 250mg and 500mg daily. However, you should only use this medication as prescribed by your physician.

Side Effects
Taking Azithral may result in experiencing unwanted side effects. However, the prevalence of the side effects is considered to be rare. Some patients may experience stomach pain, diarrhea, vomiting or a mild skin rash.
