Use
Cefor Injection (Cefpirome Sulphate) is a semi-synthetic cephalosporin which is intravenously administered to treat bacterial infections such as bronchopneumonia, pyelonephritis, cellulitis wound infections, septicaemia, bacteraemia, and other serious infections in intensive care patients. This antibiotic is effective in fighting off a variety of Gram positive and negative organisms, and is highly recommended for patients who have life threatening bacterial infections. The medication works by preventing bacteria from spreading further, ultimately leading to its elimination.
Dosage and Administration
This medication should normally be administered by a healthcare professional.
Dosage will vary depending on the patient and the condition being treated. As an example, the typical dosage for patients with urinary tract infection is 1gm, 2 times a day. Dosage when treated lower respiratory tract infection may be higher, at 1gm to 2gm.
Effects
Side effects can occur when using Cefor Injections. Possible symptoms include nausea, diarrhoea, abdomen pains, urticaria, fever, convulsions. Inform your physician immediately if you notice any of these side effects.
If you suffer an allergic reaction seek emergency medical attention. Symptoms may include rashes, hives, swelling, and/or difficulty breathing.
Precautions
Do not use this medication if you are allergic to any cephalosporins or any antibiotics such as penicillin, ampicillin, or amoxicillin.
Do not use this medication if you are pregnant, trying to conceive a child, or breastfeeding.
Prolonged use of Cefor may lead to fungi overgrowth. Never use this medication for longer than you have been prescribed. If after a few days use you notice no change in your condition, inform your physician.
Prior to using Cefor Injection disclose to your physician details of any other medication you are taking (including all off-the-shelf meds, as well as supplements), and any other existing medication conditions or illnesses which you have. Delivery Time: 7-14 Days
