Use
Claramax (Clarinex) is a non-sedating anti-histamine for 24 hour relief from the symptoms of hayfever and seasonal allergic rhinitis without causing drowsiness. One Tablet daily of Claramax (Clarinex) provides relief from: Sneezing, Runny and Itchy Nose, Congestion and Stuffiness, Watery, itchy eyes, Itching of palate and coughing. Claramax (Clarinex) is a medicine that belongs to a class of medicines known as antihistamines.
Dosage
Claramax (Clarinex) is not be used by children under 12 years of age unless advised by your physician or pharmacist. Children over 12 years of age and adults take one Claramax (Clarinex) tablet daily with a glass of water. Claramax (Clarinex) can be taken before or after food. Do not take a double dose of Claramax (Clarinex) if you forget to take your daily tablet.
Side effects
In some cases, possible side effects of this medication may include: Headache, Fatigue, Dry mouth.
Precautions
Claramax (Clarinex) is unlikely to cause drowsiness. If, however, you find that you become affected do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery. Consult with your physician or pharmacist before using Claramax (Clarinex) if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Consult with your physician or pharmacist before taking Claramax (Clarinex) if you have liver or severe kidney problems. Do not use Claramax (Clarinex) if you are allergic to Desloratadine or any of Claramax (Clarinex)'s other ingredients. Claramax (Clarinex) tablets do not contain sucrose or gluten but do contain lactose. Keep Claramax (Clarinex) out of the reach of young children.
