Uses
Corbis 2.5 (Bisoprolol Fumarate USP) is a Beta Blocker primarily used to treat and manage cardiovascular illnesses such as hypertension and high blood pressure. It may also be prescribed to manage heart failure. This drug may be used by itself or combined with other anti-hypertensive medications. It is water soluble and is both lipophilic and hydrophilic.
Dosage and administration
Corbis 2.5 is taken orally, usually once per day. It is highly recommended you dose at the same time(s) each day. Never adjust your dose yourself or take more than recommended by your physician.
It will take several weeks to see the full effects of taking Corbis, so for best results it is important to take the medicine consistently.
Abruptly ceasing use of this medication may lead to dangerous adverse effects like angina, irregular heartbeat, and even heart attacks. If you wish to stop taking this medication, consult your physician who will devise a suitable plan for gradually reducing your usage until you can stop completely.
Side effects
Side effects of Corbis 2.5 can include diarrhoea, vomiting, muscle pains, and a runny nose. If any of these persist or become bothersome inform your physician.
More severe side effects can include fainting, swelling, difficulty breathing, and weight gain. Inform your physician immediately or seek emergency medical attention if you notice any of these side effects.
Precautions
Corbis is not suitable for patients who have experienced overt cardiac failure, cardiogenic shock, or atrioventricular blocks.
Inform your physician if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and disclose any of the following:
- Any other medication you are taking, whether prescription, non-prescription, or supplements
- Any other existing health conditions or diseases you have
- Any notable medical history or family medical history
