Uses
Daflon (Rutaceae) is supplement containing important minerals and vitamins which are not typically consumed in the majority of people's diets. It may be suitable for patients with vitamin deficiencies, which can be the result of illnesses, diseases, pregnancy, and/or general poor nutrition.

The main ingredient is derived from the citrus family, similar to limes, grapefruits, lemons and oranges.

Dosage and administration
Patients usually take 1 to 2 tablets a day, either on a full stomach or alongside some food. Swallow tablets whole, and wash down with water.

Although this is a supplement, avoid risks and dose according to your pharmacist or physician's instructions. Always stay within the maximum daily recommended dosage. It is possible to overdose on vitamins.

Do not combine with other health products or medication without first speaking to your physician about possible interactions. 

Side effects
Report all side effects to your physician. Side effects which have been reported by patients taking this medication include:

• Nausea
• Diarrhea
• Indigestion
• Constipation
• Dark or tarry stool

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of the following side effects:

• Difficulty breathing or swallowing
• A tight chest
• Swelling
• Hives
• Skin rashes

Precautions
Prior to taking this supplement, consult your physician to discuss its safety if:
