Uses
Dicaris 150 belongs to the family of Antineoplastic drugs, which are drugs that fight cancer. It is primarily prescribed for patients suffering from colon cancer. This drug works by developing antibodies which combat growth or formation of cancerous cells in a person's body.
This medication may also be effective in treating other diseases aside from cancer as determined by your physician. It is not a chemotherapy medication, however it is often used alongside chemotherapy to increase its effectiveness.
Dosage and administration
Strictly follow all instructions provided by your physician. Do not self-medicate or alter your dosage.
Dosage will vary largely by the cancer being treated, its stage, previous progress using medication, and the patient’s health and medical history.
Take Dicaris tablets orally, alongside a full glass of water.
Side effects
Mild symptoms that may not require immediate medical attention unless they become bothersome include dizziness, sleep problems, diarrhea, and loss of hair.
Promptly inform your physician if you experience back pain, unusual bruising, extreme tiredness or weakness, blood in your urine, bleeding, or spot formation on the skin.
Seek immediate emergency medical assistance if you experience numbness, difficulty walking, confusion, or paranoia.
Precautions
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, elderly, or a child patient, fully discuss the risks involved with your physician to determine whether the benefits outweigh the risks.
