Uses
Dicaris 50 (Levamisole) is an Antineoplastic medication which boosts the immune system and helps protection the body from various illnesses. This medication is mainly used in the treatment of colon cancer, and may be used in conjunction with other medicine. It works by slowing the growth of cancer cells and preventing them from spreading.
Dosage and administration
Dicaris should be taken strictly as instructed by your physician. Dosage will vary from patient to patient and can only be determined by a healthcare professional.
Tablets are taken orally, usually alongside a glass of water and some food.
While taking Dicaris 50, your progress should be closely monitored by your physician so that your dosage can be adjusted if necessary.
Side effects
Common side effects can include vomiting, dizziness, stomach pains, appetite loss, muscle pains, and diarrhoea. If any become persistent or bothersome, inform your physician immediately.
Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any flu-like symptoms such as a fever, chills, or sore throat. Other serious side effects which require immediate attention include loss of consciousness, confusion, or signs of an allergic reaction for example swelling, trouble breathing, rashes, or hives.
Precautions
Inform your physician if you are currently taking Warfarin or Phenytoin, as this medication may not be safe for your use. If you can proceed, special close monitoring of your progress will be a necessity.
Live vaccinations are not safe while you are taking Dicaris.
