Uses
Dolocip-DT is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) primarily used to reduce inflammation and relieve pain caused by a variety of health condition such as post-operative pain, dysmenorrhoea, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis.
It works by tagetting hormones which cause the conditions listed above and inhibiting their activity.

Dosage and administration
Always follow the prescribed dose and course of medication provided by your physician. Safe dosage will vary depending on the individual patient.
A typical dose is between 10mg and 20mg per day, taken in either one dose or split over several smaller doses over the day.
Swallow tablets whole without splitting, chewing, crushing, or dissolving in water. Aim to dose at the same time(s) each day.
Side effects
Side effects are normally mild and safe. If any persist, become more severe, or start to bother you, inform your physician as soon as you can.
- Headaches
- Dizziness
- Nervousness
- Upset stomach
- Constipation
- Diarrhea
- Gassiness
- Itchiness
- Blurred vision
- Ringing in the ears
The adverse effects listed below are more serious and require immediate medicate attention.
- Severe general or muscle weakness
- Chest, stomach, or throat pains
- Tingling sensations
- Stiff neck
- Nausea
- Headaches
- Seizure or convulsions
- Bloody cough
- Black, dark, or tarry stool
- Slurred speech
- Jaundice
- Fever-like symptoms
- Unexplained bruising or bleeding
- Changes in weight or appetite
- Changes in eyesight or increased sensitivity to light
- Changes to balance or coordination
Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a hypersensitive or allergic reaction. Possible symptoms include skin rashes, hives, swelling, tight chest, and difficulty breathing and/or swallowing.
Precautions
Dolocip-DT can increase patient’s sensitivity to sunlight and other sources of UV rays such as sun lamps or tanning booths. Avoid any unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight, using plenty of high factor sun screen when it is unavoidable and covering skin with clothing as much as possible. Refrain from all use of sun lamps and tanning booths while using this medication and for some time after. For more information, consult your physician.
If you have any upcoming surgery, whether medical or dental, always inform the surgeon you are taking Dolocip-DT.
Before taking Dolocip-DT, inform you physician if you are pregnant, planning or trying to conceive a baby, or you are breastfeeding. It is also important you disclose details of any of the following.
- Any other medication you are taking (including all non-prescription medication)
- Any herbal products, dietary supplements, or vitamins you take
- Any existing illnesses, health conditions, or disorders you suffer from (especially if heart, blood, stomach, kidney, or liver related)
- Regular alcohol, tobacco, or recreational drug consumption
