Uses
Duoderm Solution is a gel-like solution used topically to treat skin conditions, including acne, dandruff, warts, verrucas, and corns. It can also be sued to help treat minor abrasions, cuts, burns, scalds, or lacerations. It works by causing the skin's outer layer to shed.
Dosage and administration
Strictly use as instructed by your physician or as instructed on the product's packaging.
- Wash your hands and the area of skin to be treated, and allow both to air dry.
- Remove any loose skin with a clean wash cloth or soft brush
- Gently shake the bottle to mix the solution inside
- Apply a thin layer of solution onto the skin
- Allow to air dry uncovered, recap the solution, and wash your hands again using soap.
After application you may wash, bathe, and shampoo as normal.
Side effects
Side effects are usually non-persisting and mild to moderate in severity. Possible side effects include:
- Burning
- Dryness
- Irritation
- Stinging
- Peeling
- Redness
- Itchiness
- Changed to skin pigmentation
