Dutasteride 0.5mg + Tamisulosin 0.4mg

What is Dutas-T?

Dutas-T contains seperate capsules of Dutasteride 0.5mg (generic avodart) and Tamisulosin 0.4mg (generic flomax). Each strip contains 10 capsules of Dutas (dutasteride 0.5mg) and 10 capsules of Urimax (tamisulosin 0.4mg).

Dutasteride) contains the same ingredients as Avodart and is used for treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate). Dutasteride is similar to Finasteride (the active ingredient in Propecia and Proscar) with the way that it inhibits DHT. Generic Dutasteride has also been used to treat hairloss (Male Pattern Baldness).

Tamisulosin is used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). This condition can cause difficulty in starting urination, a weak flow of urine, and the need to urinate urgently or more frequently. Flomax relaxes the muscle around the prostate, freeing the flow of urine and decreasing urinary symptoms.
