Each film-coated tablet contains Finasteride 5 mg Fistide Generic Name: Finasteride Packets of 30 x 5 mg Tablets Manufactured by Samarth Pharma Use Fistide (Generic Proscar) is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia in men. This is where the prostate is enlarged and causes problems with urinating. The prostate is gradually reduced from its enlarged state, bringing relief to the patient. Fistides active ingredient Finasteride, is the same as in Propecia, but at a much larger dose. Fistide (Generic Proscar) has 5mg Finasteride compared with Propecias 1 mg dosage. Dosage Take this medicine at the same time each day. This medicine may be taken on an empty stomach or with food. This medicine may be crushed if difficult to swallow.
