Generic Retinova (Tretinoin 0.05%) is widely and popularly used for the treatment of acne, and can also diminish the visible signs of ageing � removing lines and fades sun spots. It is also used in conjunction with topical hair loss medications. Use of this product with Minoxidil for hairloss is effective because of the Tretonoins (active ingredient) ability to increase cell reproduction and accelerate dead cell removal.

Application
Apply sparingly to the scalp 15 mins before application of Minoxidil.

Side effects
You may experience mild redness or stinging, itching, burning, skin scaling, peeling and dry skin the first several weeks as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become severe, discontinue use and notify your physician.

Precautions
Before taking this medication tell your physician if you have any pre-existing skin disorders or if you have any allergies. This medication increases your sensitivity to the sun. Limit sun exposure and avoid sun lamps. Use a sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors. This medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your physician. It is unknown if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult with your physician before breast-feeding.
