Uses
Irovel H (Irbesartan/Hydrochlorothiazide) is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It possesses diuretic properties, as well as angiotensin II receptor antagonist properties.

It works by widening the patient's blood vessels and removing excess salt and retained fluid so blood can pass more effectively.

Dosage and administration
Always take Irovel H (Irbesartan/Hydrochlorothiazide) as prescribed. Swallow tablets whole without chewing, crushing, splitting, or dissolving it. Patients are normally not advised to dose during the evening so any increased urination does not interfere with sleep.

You may be required to attend regular blood pressure readings with your physician. Keep all appointments. Your physician may choose to adjust your dose based on your progress.

Drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration.
