Uses
Natamet is an eye drop treatment prescribed to treat eye infections which are fungal based. It is effective in treat fungal infections of the cornea of the eye / lining of the eye / the eyelid, and is a natural anti-fungal agent.
Dosage and administration
Always follow the instructions given to you by your physician. The following steps are given merely as a general guide to give customers a rough idea of how this product is used.
Always wash your hands using soap, and then dry, before handling and applying this medication.
- Tilt your head backwards, hold down your lower eyelid, opening your eyes wide.
- Squeeze out eye drop(s) at the bottom of the eye.
- Close your eyes for 60 to 120 seconds to allow the solution to spread
The number of eye drops you require, and the frequency of dosing are both highly dependent on the patient, the condition being treated, and its severity.
Side effects
Inform your physician of any side effects you suffer. The most common are listed below.

- Itchiness
- Swelling
- Burning or stinging sensations
Precautions
