Use
Desvenlafaxine belongs to a class of drugs called selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRI). It is used to teat major depression. It prevents the reuptake of serotonin and epinephrine by nerves after they have been released.
Dosage and administration
Follow the directions given by your physician carefully. The recommended dose of Desvenlafaxine is 50mg a day, taken before or after the meal. The doses should not exceed 50mg each day. Do not take Desvenlafaxine in the larger amount or in smaller amount.
Side effects
The common side effects are nausea, headaches, anxiet, insomnia, drowsiness, constipation, weakness, dry mouth, sweating, diarrhea, anxiety, insomnia, etc.
Precautions
Before taking Desvenlafaxine, tell your physician if you are having hypersensitivity or allergic to Desvenlafaxine or any drugs or foods, dyes, preservatives, have any medical history, such as high blood pressure, liver disease, mania or bipolar disorder, suicidal thoughts or a previous suicide attempt, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
