Uses
Nitrogesic Ointment (nitroglyceryl) is prescribed as a muscle relaxant used to immediately relieve spasms and pains caused by various conditions. It can also be used to treat anal fissures and chest pain. For more information regarding other uses, consult your physician.
Dosage and administration
Strictly use Nitrogesic Ointment (nitroglyceryl) as your physician has instructed. Most patients are instructed to apply the ointment twice a day, or when otherwise when needed. Your prescription and dosage may change depending on your reaction and progress using this medication.
Always wash your hands before and after use to help prevent any germ contamination. Recap the tube immediately after use.
Side effects
Side effects which have been reported by patients taking Nitrogesic Ointment (nitroglyceryl) include:
- Nausea

- Abnormal weakness
- Blurry vision
- Increased perspiration
- Dry mouth

Precautions
