Uses
Stemetil MD (Prochlorperazine) is used to treat symptoms of dizziness, loss of coordination, nausea, vomiting, or migraines. Additionally, it is sometimes prescribed as a short term management treatment for schizophrenia and anxiety.

Dosage and Administration
Take Stemetil MD (Prochlorperazine) at the same time(s) each day for best results. Always swallow tablets whole and wash down with plenty of water. Do not dissolve the tablet in water or crush, split, or chew it.

Side effects
Mild side effects which have been reported by patients taking Stemetil MD (Prochlorperazine) are constipation, drowsiness, dizziness, blurry vision, and dry mouth.

Side effects which have the potential to be reported are listed below. Inform your physician as soon as possible if you experience any of them.

• Persistent nausea and/or vomiting
• Stomach pains
• Severe drowsiness
• Fever
• Abnormal bleeding or bruising
• Jaundice
• Muscle stiffness
• Difficulty urinating
• Darkened urine
• Tender or enlarged breasts
• Confusion
• Mood changes
• Jerky uncontrolled movements
• Shakes and tremors
• Seizures
• Difficulty swallowing
• Increased perspiration
• Change in heart beat

Precautions
If you have an allergic or hypersensitive reaction, seek emergency medical attention. Possible symptoms include difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, swelling, chest tightness, skin rashes, and hives.

Stemetil MD (Prochlorperazine) should only be used as instructed and prescribed by your physician or pharmacist. Do not alter your dosage unless specifically instructed to do so by either of the above. Dosage and usage often depends on the severity of the condition, as well as the patient's medical history and current health condition.
