Uses
Trivastal L.A is prescribed to help treat a wide range of different conditions including Parkinson's disease, mild cognitive impairment, cerebral aging, and restless leg syndrome. Some of the medicine's properties include the improvement of memory, concentration, vigilance loss, vertigo, nervous system functioning, and psychomotor reactions.
Dosage and administration
Correct dosage will depend upon many individual factors, especially as this medication is used to treat many different conditions. Always discuss with your physician how best to take this medication, and always follow their instructions strictly.
Typical dosage is 1 tablet per day for a week, and future dosage determined based on the progress during this week.
This medication should be taken whole, without chewing, crushing, or dissolving the tablet. Take alongside a glass of water.
For best results, dose at the same time(s) each day. Doing so helps to maintain a consistent amount of the drug in your system, and also helps patients not to forget to take the medicine.
After dosing refrain from abruptly rising from a sitting or laying position for 10 - 15 minutes.
Keep all appointments as your progress should be monitored closely so your dosage can be adjusted appropriately.
Side effects

Female patients who take oral contraceptive pills (“the pill”) should use an additional barrier method of contraception while taking this medication, as it has been known to reduce the effectiveness of oral contraceptive pills. If unsure, consult your physician for more information.
Until you know how this medication affects you avoid driving, operating heavy machinery, or participating in any activities which require a moderate to high degree of concentration.
Before you begin taking Trivastal L.A always inform your healthcare professional if any of the following apply to you.
- You are taking any other medication, including non-prescription meds, vitamins or supplements, and recreational drugs
- You have any other medical conditions, illnesses, or diseases
- You have any allergies
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
