Uses
Verrutol is a topical medication used to help manage skin conditions such as warts and verrucas located in areas such as the hands, feet, or genitals. The main ingredients are Fluorouracil and Salicylic Acid.
Dosage and administration
Consult your physician to discuss the dosage and frequency most suitable and safe for you. Do not self-medicate or adjust your dosage unless advised to do so by your physician.
To apply, simply apply directly to the affected area, massaging a small amount of the substance and leaving a thin layer uncovered to air dry. Reapply 2 to 4 times per day or as directed by your physician.
Always clean your hands using soap before and after applying this medication.
Side effects
Verrutol is generally used without severe or persisting side effects. Most side effects suffered are located around the application site, the most common being irritation, itchiness, inflammation, or burning/cooling sensations. If any side effects become bothersome or worrying, inform your physician as soon as you can.
If you notice any signs of allergies such as rashes, hives, or swelling, seek immediate medication attention.
Precautions
Verrutol is for external use only. Do not apply too close to your eyes, mouth, nose, ears, or skin which is cut, burnt, or broken in anyway.
Keep this medicine in a cool dry place out of reach of sunlight, children, and household pets.
