Your doctor will decide what dosing schedule is right for you, but the most common is 5 pills twice a day for adults. If the mixture is not consumed all at once, refrigerate and drink within six hours. Don't mix Viracept with fruit juice, as this combination can have a bitter taste. You need to take Viracept with meals. Your body absorbs the medicine better with food in your stomach. You need to eat with your medication so that Viracept can work well.
