Zulu (Tizanidine/Nimesulide) is used to help manage and treat moderate inflammation or pain caused by injuries such as sprains, lumbago, post-operative trauma, injuries from sports, rheumatoid arthritis, fractures, or spondylitis. It may also be used to help manage muscle spasms as it has muscle relaxing properties. The medication belongs to a group of medicines known as NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) that operate by inhibiting certain nerve impulses which are sent to the brain, helping to block out the pain associated with these kinds of injuries and conditions.
Strictly follow the instructions of your physician while using Zulu (Tizanidine/Nimesulide). Do not self-medicate or alter your dosage unless advised to do so by your physician. The correct dosage will vary depending on the patient and the precise condition being treated. The typical dosage is 100mg to 200mg, taken 1 to 3 times per day with a large glass of water. Allow at least 6 hours between each dose. Never take the medication more than 3 times per day as doing so could cause liver damage. Regular liver function tests may be required while taking the medication to prevent any problems from occurring.
