Cobix (Celecoxib) Generic Name: Celecoxib Strips of 10 x 200 mg Tablets Manufactured by Brown & Burk Use Cobix (Celecoxib) for treatment for pain and inflammation from arthritis, or strained joints. Cobix (Celecoxib) provides powerful, 24-hour relief from osteoarthritis (OA). Cobix (Celecoxib) is also approved for the treatment of adult rheumatoid arthritis (RA), acute pain, and primary dysmenorrhea (painful menstrual cramps). Dosage Cobix (Celecoxib) can be taken with or without food. The recommended dose for OA is 200 mg a day, which may be taken as a single 200-mg dose or as a 100-mg dose twice a day. The recommended dose for RA is 100 mg to 200 mg, twice a day. If you are taking Cobix (Celecoxib) for other reasons, your physician will tell you the correct dosage to take. Side effects Side effects can include Headache, Indigestion, Upper respiratory, Tract infection, Diarrhoea, Sinus inflammation, Stomach pain, Nausea. Precautions You should continue to take Cobix (Celecoxib) as prescribed even when you are feeling better. Cobix (Celecoxib) can cause fluid retention and swelling in some patients.
